The Effizio fans come packaged in a fully transparent blister package. Luckily the front and back pieces simply pull apart, unlike most blister packages that require the loss of two fingers after fighting with a knife to get them open.
The cardboard insert behind the fan has a very eye catching design to it. The variety of font sizes and colours on the front really draw my eyes to the packaging. Around back you'll see what looks like a lot of text talking about the features, but there's really only three key features being outlined here, in four different languages. Also found back here are the specifications, system requirements, package contents listing and warranty information.
With the package opened we can see that alongside the fan there are also four mounting screws, five rubber mounts and a small fold out installation guide included. The shock absorbing rubber mounts would take the place of using screws and allow the fan to "float" off the surface of the chassis to prevent the transfer of noise from the fan into the chassis. You'll notice in the picture below that there were five rubber mounts in the package of my sample - SilenX did clarify that this was a packing mistake at the factory.
